Kelowna Banquet Rescheduled to 2027

After careful consideration, the Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation has made the decision to reschedule its second Celebrating Indigenous Hockey Legends Gala to September 30, 2027.
The event was originally set for September 29, 2026, one day prior to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort.
“Rescheduling the gala to align with the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will make the event even more impactful,” said Jada Yee, PHSF Cultural Advisor and Chair of the banquet’s organizing committee. “It will allow us to honour the remarkable contributions of Indigenous hockey legends while recognizing the importance of this significant day and creating a lasting experience for everyone involved.”
The foundation’s inaugural Celebrating Indigenous Hockey Legends Banquet, held in Regina on September 30, 2025, featured a 22-minute documentary produced for the event. A shortened version is currently included in the Hockey Hall of Fame video presentation category.
