‘Behind the Mask’ Hot Stove Panel Highlights 2026 Wall of Honour Induction Banquet
OKOTOKS, Alberta. (July 11, 2026)
The Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation’s third annual Wall of Honour induction banquet is fast approaching!
Join us on Friday, Aug. 28, in Okotoks, AB, for an unforgettable evening celebrating the outstanding contributions of professional hockey scouts.
We’re excited to announce our “Behind the Mask” hot stove panel, featuring John Davidson, Kelly Hrudey, Jamie McLennan, Brent Krahn, Ed Staniowski and Glen Hanlon, who will share memories and behind-the-scenes stories from their NHL careers.
The evening also will include a special video tribute honouring the late John Garrett, whose remarkable contributions to hockey and broadcasting will be remembered and celebrated. He had committed to being with us and being part of the hot stove panel on Aug. 28 prior to his untimely death on April 27.
Beginning this week, we’ll highlight our 2026 Wall of Honour inductees on our website and social media as we count down to banquet day. Be sure to follow along and learn more about this year’s exceptional class.
Guests also will enjoy a live performance by rising Canadian country music artist Derek Shayne, adding another exciting element to an evening of hockey, entertainment and celebration.
