Dan Ginnell

(July 3, 1965 —)

A native of Flin Flon, he began his scouting career with the St. Louis Blues in 2003. . . . The 2025-26 season marked his 23rd as an amateur scout with the Blues. . . . He was part of the 2019 Stanley Cup champions, a team whose roster included 13 players who had been drafted by the Blues. . . . He is the third member of the Ginnell family to be inducted into the Wall of Honour. His father, Pat, was in the inaugural class in 2004 and his brother, Erin, was inducted in 2025. . . . “I was my Dad’s sidekick for years . . . ever since I can remember,” Dan says. . . . His playing career amounted to, in his words, “a cup of coffee” in the SJHL in 1984. That was with the Swift Current Broncos with whom his father was head coach.
