Jeff Crisp

Born in St. Mary’s, Ont., he was the marketing director for the Peterborough Petes when he made the move to scouting with the OHL team. He credits Jeff Twohey and Norm Bryan of the Petes for showing him the scouting ropes. . . . Moved into the NHL as an amateur scout with Calgary Flames in 1999. Was there through four seasons before joining Anaheim Ducks for 13 seasons, the last four as head scout. Was part of the Ducks’ 2007 Stanley Cup championship. . . . Left Anaheim in 2016 and joined Buffalo Sabres as assistant director of amateur scouting. . . . Made the move to Seattle Kraken prior to 2020-21, one season before the team began play in the NHL. . . . His father, Terry, is a former NHL player, coach and broadcaster who won two Stanley Cups as a player and one as a coach.
