OKOTOKS (Aug. 7, 2026) — The Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation has entered into a partnership agreement with BOSS Lubricants under which the Calgary-based company will be the presenting sponsor for its 2026 Wall of Honour Induction Dinner.

The third annual Wall of Honour Induction Dinner, presented by BOSS Lubricants, is to be held in Okotoks, at the Viking Rentals Centre, on Aug. 28.

BOSS Lubricants has been involved in all of the non-profit PHSF’s dinners, and also was a sponsor of the inaugural Celebration of Indigenous Hockey Legends banquet that was held in Regina on Sept. 30, 2025.

BOSS Lubricants was founded in 1992 as Arlyn Enterprises Ltd., by Murray Flegel, a former professional hockey player who played three seasons (1964-67) with the Regina Pats. A lubricants manufacturing company, BOSS is an acronym for Bulk Oil Sales and Service.

According to its website: “We manufacture and supply premium engine and transmission lubricants, natural gas engine and compressor oils, grease, glycols and similar products in over 400 varieties. . . . We work with independent distributors throughout our service area and have branches in Abbotsford, Brandon, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Kelowna, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Plamondon, Red Deer, Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.”  BOSS Lubricants also is Shell’s largest distributor in Western Canada.
