Let’s be honest!

The Western Canada Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation would love to see you at our Celebrating Indigenous Hockey Legends, presented by Bouchier, banquet and festivities in Regina’s Conexus Arts Centre on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

And we know that you would love to be there. But we fully understand if you aren’t able to make it.

That’s why we have made arrangements so that you don’t have to be there to enjoy all the goings-on. The WCPHS Foundation has entered into a partnership with HNLIVE that means the entire production will be available for streaming, and all for the cost of a couple of beer or a few donuts.

Yes, for $12 you will be able to tune in and watch the whole show, including the two hot stove sessions, the wonderful In Memoriam video that has been put together by Billy Melville, the live auction, the heads-or-tails game, the blanketing ceremony involving Hockey Hall-of-Famer Bryan Trottier and a whole lot more, all under the direction of emcee Dennis Beyak.

The hot stove sessions will feature Dr. Kallie Armstrong, Ron Delorme, Brent Dodginghorse, the King brothers, D.J. and Dwight, Jon (Nasty) Mirasty, Rich Pilon, Joey Tetarenko, Jordin Tootoo, Trottier and Dave (Tiger) Williams.

If you’re interested in the stream, all you have to do on Tuesday evening is go to HNLIVE’s website (hnlive.ca), click on Watch Now!, select the banquet from the menu and pay the fee. Under terms of the partnership with HNLIVE, the foundation gets half of the viewing fees.

BTW, tickets for the banquet are available at hockeyscoutsfoundation.com. You should know, too, that you also are able to make a straight donation to the foundation at that website.

And one other thing . . . the silent auction that is part of the banquet experience already is in high gear. You are able to check it out at https://m.elevateauctions.com/Scouts.
