The second annual Western Canada Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation’s Wall of Honour induction banquet promises to be a most memorable evening.

Scheduled for July 29, 2025, the gala will take place in the Events Hall at the Viking Rentals Centre in Okotoks, AB. Adding to the excitement, the evening will feature a special Hot Stove session with the legendary hockey family from Viking, Alberta with the banquet theme being “A Night With the Sutters”.

Ross Mahoney, the foundation’s vice-president, remarked: “Honouring 29 deserving individuals from the scouting fraternity on the Wall of Honour is a fantastic way to celebrate the contributions these men have made to the sport of hockey. And having the Sutters as part of our hot stove session in sharing their life experiences and stories makes the evening even more special.” Scott Bradley who is a director of the foundation, further commented: “We are incredibly thankful and delighted that members from the Sutter family have accepted our invitation to participate in our hot stove platform on what is sure to be a momentous event.”
